As the bird …

As the bird glides through the sky, So my heart cries out to you.

You oh Lord are my source of strength, You’re my whole desire.

Teach me Lord to do your will, To reach to you for all I need.

On my own I can do nothing, But with you I can do all things.

Fill me Lord afresh I pray, With your spirit and your love.

Help me be a willing servant, So that you can live through me.

Change my heart and mind to be, Fully submissive, in tune with you.

Help me be a loving child, Always ready to obey.

Use me Lord, for I’m your own, Teach me Lord to hear your voice.

To be in constant communion with you, And at peace within your presence.

Lord I trust you with my life, Every day till I shall die.

For I know that your intent, Is the very best for me.

I will love you all my days, To be close is oh so special.

Help me now Lord to draw others, Only unto you.
