To the lake we would go,

My mother,

Brothers,

And I,

Go play by the water children,

She'd say,

Have fun,

She'd tell us.

XXX

It's probably the worst way to go,

The struggle,

The water entering your lungs,

Filling your body,

Slowly consuming all the air inside of you,

Slowly draining you of life,

As it filters its way it.

XXX

You'll try to find your bearings,

But there isn't really much point,

Once you're below the surface,

And the water is already winning,

There isn't much hope.

XXX

Don't worry,

Take it from me,

You'll be found,

Seaweed in your hair,

Your dress torn,

Your face so pure and innocent,

So lifeless and alone,

XXX

Go and play by the water children,

HAVE FUN
