It was bigger than my friendship with the girl who disappeared,

that ended up with the man of her dreams, and child a year later.

It was more than the nights we spent walking by the lazy summer river,

or camped out at the park by your house.

It was complaining about the stupid boy I loved- and listening when I needed to vent,

remembering my birthday, remembering my favorite color.

being there when you graduated, and watched you acheive.

When you got your first job at the place you hated, but loved the pay.

When I went to interview at the place I didn't fit it- but wanted to so bad.

When I threw up on the side of the road from eating too many chicken wings,

to 2 am Seven Eleven runs to grab achos and gummy worms.

Playing the video game that I love so much, and making dollar store spaghetti,

watching Disney movies and singing in the car to whatever came on.

It was larger tha the Genesis.

I knew I loved you from the very beginning.
