Isolation

Relegated to the scrap heap, unloved and all alone,

there’s no one there to talk to, no one for you to phone.

There’s no one there who even cares, who’d miss you if you’d gone

for anyone who cared for you, you’ve treated them so wrong.

No one is there to take the blame, it’s all come down to you;

you’re the one responsible for everything you do.

They have all just walked away without even a glance back,

now any kind of company is something that you lack.

You live in isolation, imprisoned by the walls

and no one even listens to your screams and calls.

You want to make an effort but you really don’t know how,

it seems that just a life alone is waiting for you now.
