I was once handed a rose, made of paper and ink,
Some would scoff at a thing like that,
A thing of fiction,
A thing like me,
But I saw the truth behind the lines,
Fiction hides facts, even if not mine.
The folded rose told a story,
Just like your life or my own,
And even if our lives are not fiction,
They tell stories of their own
