Some of you already have names But the rest of us don't. We the nameless still thirst. We still wait for our glasses, half full of tears and sweat, to fill up. The all-knowing wind whispers in our ears And tells us to look up to the dancing clouds, And follow their steps. Their steps, though, appear stressful And their dances melancholic And they break into tears instead of smiles and laughter. Even though their dances darkens their shade, They soon light up with bliss and become as white as snow. They are happy. Happy to mask our tears with theirs. That's their purpose That's their name. So let's dance along with them And find ours; Let us fill our glasses Till the last tear sweetens the sour ones, Till we swallow them down with a gulp And burp our new names out with confidence!
