Pluto's actual color is a light rose tint. Plus, it has a geographical feature that looks like a heart. Based on those things, I was inspired to write a Valentine's Day poem to my favorite planet.

For Pluto, on February 14

Valentine planet,

heart on your sleeve,

you wander cold depths seeking love,

seeking warmth.

Rose-tinted planet,

you have companions but no lovers.

Charon is a cold gray dance partner,

poor company.

Alone in the crowd that attends you,

you circle endlessly, at great distance,

your greatest suitor and source of warmth.

He shines in the distance, bright yet aloof,

attracting and repelling,

forever out of reach.

Not to worry.

There are hearts, (including mine),

that reach out to you.

Rose-tinted Pluto,

heart on your sleeve,

you are loved.
