Twisted

Say what you mean,

Mean what you say,

Don’t keep on messing

Don’t make me pay.

Don’t say you care --

It’s clear you do not,

You’re composing a story,

I’m part of the plot.

Don’t say I’m important,

Don’t make out you care,

Don’t lie and make promises --

Say you’ll always be there.

This game it is twisted,

You’re being so cruel

I didn’t deserve to

Be played like a fool.
