"In A Mess" Is Where I Belong

I pulled myself out of the wreckage

And landed in turmoil

__when nobody caught me in rebound motion

As the years flew passed

__I had a laugh or two

Still, there's nothing else to do

I look back at my life

__wasted all around

Still, nobody wants me to be their clown

I giggle at the thoughts of homicide

My lust for fatalities has me in question

I feel just like a stolen weapon

Nothing but the bloodshed that I can imagine

__goes thru my brain

____like a freight train

Ideas spark no interest though

Killing anybody but who harmed me

__would not be a fair vengeance

So I sleep it off

__and put myself back in that mess

____when I wake up again
