My Dead Dog

 

My dog was found dead. Just in the rainy road of Alabang. I was walking with a vermiliion umbrella under the tears of the stars. He was lying down in concrete road, with his eyes and mouth wide open. Cold rose petals flowing. The teardrops were washing off the dirt of his muddy paw. Poor little thing, I've never given you a shoe to bite nor a pillow to rip off. It has been days since you escaped the house and here you are, rotten. I envy you that death has approached you first. Now it frightens you no more. Magnets of two dimensions can't collide nor can it cooperate to one another. I sat on the breathless dog and pat his head.

 

"Stay like that, fluffy and adorable" I said
