The flight was a struggle, fierce storms with heavy rain. When the lightning stroke we all felt the panic, you could see all the passenger’s crazy hair standing up in shock like if it had a mind of its own, even my purple hair did it too, I bet mine looked way cooler, just because its purple and purple is a cool color. The plane was a monstrous strong machine but still couldn’t resist moving from side to side as the strong winds were powerful and eager to take control. I suppose for adrenaline junkies it would be the perfect ride, I did get scared at times but common we are in 2020 even though we are still in a crisis our technology is fierce and no weather can bring no plane down!

When I start to think about something worse than being on this flight I think about something scary like being trapped in a cave with no exit, But! I would wait until the sunlight appears and some of it would sweep in between the heavy rocks and I would just find a way out, well sort of, hopefully I would, if not I suppose I would just die, which would be a bit boring as I would be on my own, but looking at the bright side of things if that did happen, I wouldn’t have to stress about my life anymore, no money problems no relationship problems and definitely not worrying of what I’m going to be when I’m older question, such a stupid question.

Finally, the plane touched ground safely, after all I was glad, I always like to get my moneys worth. I stepped out of the plane with my awkward feet pointing outwards, even though my feet are really weird my toe nails were painted purple, so that would mean my feet were cool, because purple is a cool color. The smell of unknown fresh air felt good, thank goodness, the 2 hours’ flight was over, all that air circulating again and again, I swear it makes me feel light headed. My hand touched the cold metal bar, it felt refreshing, I wrapped my fingers round it and slowly came down the air stairs, step by step I knew I couldn’t fall even if I did have awkward feet, I was wearing my comfortable wedges over 10 years old, that’s what made them comfy. I could see a forest in the distance it looked very dark and frightening, not going to visit there today, I have had enough fright for today thank you very much. So, there I went wondering what was going to happen next, if anybody was going to be waiting for me behind those sliding door.

Passport control was next, I saw all the human cattle line up in a curly maze, of course as much as I hated it I joined. While I was standing, I was listening, it was a different language, a language that was very familiar to me, I understood every single word. At that moment, it was the only thing that made sense, I felt comfortable and started to reminisce on my loving memory’s.

They accepted me in, of course, I didn’t have any criminal convictions after all, I had been a good girl, just like my mother. I walked through waiting for my belongings hoping there was only going to be one case, I thought I really shouldn’t lie to myself, my plan was just to take one case, that was enough, just practical things only. But no, I knew I ended up with two.

The cases came pretty much after the belt started to work, what a result! they had no tag on but I knew that they were mine, my mother didn’t want me to take those cases as they had loads of threads hanging, it looked shabby but so what? I liked it, they were completely fine, why waste money buying new cases if they are just going to be tossed around, specially by ME. Banging them down the stairs and all that, even when I finished packing I didn’t even bother banging them down, I just put them at the top of the stair case and set them free, my mother was relieved that it hadn’t damaged her lovely wallpaper when they smashed to the bottom.

I grabbed my cases one in each hand and my heavy handbag on my right shoulder, where I always carried a wand, a block of cheese in case I was hungry and of course a miniature rubber dingy because you never know when you might need one!

I knew I was doing the right thing, I was on the right path. I was sorted and ready to be received. The sliding doors opened and people smiled but nobody acknowledged me, then I realized, that I didn’t need anybody to start.
