You left.
YOU left.
Not me.

I tried,
so hard,
to fight for you.
To keep you in my life.

I miss you.

The world has lost its color,
this city's turned grey.

I know your only a few states away.
But your soul isn't the same.

I don't know what happened,
and God knows you won't tell me.
But I wish I could help.
I never once gave up on you-
I know you're still there.

I wish you'd fight it,
I know it's hard and you don't believe me.
But I'm depressed too.
I try my best for you.

I want you to know that I love you,
that you can escape that abyss.
You can come home.

But you won't listen.

And as you fall deeper in to your abyss,
I'm afraid that I'll slip too.
