Quite often in my travels I have had the fortune to encounter publiclly declared atheists. I say that this is my great fortune because then I had the oportunity to present these people with the latest, possibly greatest news of their life! Yes, dear friend, there is somebody who really does care, and he is kindly leaving his signature all around us in a great number of ways.

The last time that I encountered an atheist population to any great extent, was during my assignment as ESL instructor inside the People's Republic Of China. The shocking truth in revelation for me was that it  actualy was NOT the Chinese people who were the atheist that I encountered, it was the European expatriots who were more so than anyone else that I ever ran into. Expatriot communities  from Austrailia seemed to include more ahtieists than any other group out of the entire doubting population, however. I ventured to ask these people why they chose to be atheist, and their curt reply to me was that there existed no solid proof;  a statement that I have heard world over from among these groups. I was literally overjoyed at this golden opportunity to present that proof, all supported by both observation and science!

When I entered into China, I was met by my leaison with the school system there, and the people who would assist me in getting the Z visa required for working inside that nation. They escorted me around very politely, showing me the schools that I would be working in, as they informed me of their expectations from me as an instructor. My last stop was inside a Beijing police station where I had to register the last day of my tourist visa with them, specifically where I was being accomodated, as well as informing them of all my personal information.

The very last formality experienced by  me, was when I had a very official paper handed to me for my prompt examination. On that paper the words were written, that while I was welcomed there into that country with opened arms, there were a few things that was expected of me to the letter. (1) I had to obey the laws of the country. Of course, I expected that and had no problem with it. Penalties for breaking simple laws in China, like tossing cigarette butts onto the street had very stiff penalties. In that case just described, the fine was 8000.00$ American, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. (2)  I could not criticise their government, and (3) I could not spread my religion. Again, I had no problem accepting or conforming to these laws. However, if a student or students asked me anything about literally anything at all, I was under firmly declared obligation as an instructor, to answer their questions to the best extent that it was possible to do. This was an official paper with the provincial governor's personal seal of approval.

China was a changing nation, I was informed by my liasion, and part of that change involved the people understanding and accepting new ideas;  in contrast to these same people holding on to old ideas, that only served to hold the nation back from development, both economically and socially.

Again, I was literally overjoyed upon receiving this information. That was what I had came all the way across the pacific ocean on a 15.5 hour flight for, right , to teach; and now they were giving me the literal clearance to perform my job with impunity, and without any imposing interferance. What more could I or any instructor, have ever asked for?

My accomodation was o.k at best, a small ten by ten flat, with a shared kitchen; and a meager bathroom with a dish hose from a tank on the wall for a shower stall. The washer and dryer looked like something for a kid to play with, only half drying my clothes to my indefinite exasperation.  Usually I lived on oatmill and large persimmmons for breakfast, with oriental beans and rice for dinner; so the kitchen didn't matter much to me anyway. I could purchase a bag of oatmill there in Beijing large enough to get me through three weeks for three dollars American. I could get the beans and rice enough for two weeks there for about the same price.

For meat, I tended to favor the basement mall food court areas, while always shunning the street vendors, unless long lines were present at their stands. All over the world virtually anywhere that I have ever traveled to, street vendors tend to be where semi-intelligent western expats virtually always wind up getting disgustingly sick to the literal puking point. This observation was the method that I used to determine  what to purchase anyway during my stay in the orient...; by simply watching the people and buying what the largest groups bought, since I can't read, speak or understand Chinese. Usually what the crowds purchased was the safest for consumption, the best product offered , all in splendid company with the very best of prices.

I found the Chinese people to be very friendly people at large, as were the other orientals whom I encountered; such as innumerable Koreans, Tiawanese, and others. I am sure that there had to have been people somewhere who were not so friendly, but my thanks to the  great spirit above that my tendency was to always manage to avoid them, if any were around. I thouroughly enjoyed my walk on the Great Wall, my tour of Tienanmen Square, my time spent in cities like Beijing, Zhang Hu, Shanghui, and Xiamen...an outstandingly beautiful place with some of the best sights and people that one will ever find anywhere on earth. I couldn't have ever asked for anything better in life.

I literally had no problem getting around in China and functioning in the markets, the subways and the like. One honestly has not lived yet untill he attempts to book a train ticket from a Chinese train station, has never traveled to China before in the past, does not even speak or read Chinese, and is traveling completely alone.Trust me when I say that functioning under such circumstances can indeed be done!

Accomplishing this seemingly impossible task may appear daunting to impossible, but if this meridian farm boy can manage inside a city three times larger than the most famous one in New York State, then certainly others from more built up areas of the western world could. In fact, I have had this experience in three different foreign countries, of not being able to read or speak the language, yet finding my way to function in spite of these limitations. Knowing this fact may be of value to retain by readers one day. None of us never know what the future may hold for us and where it is that fate may find us?

In spite of the good times and the kind people, as we would all presume, adversity was bound to strike at some point and time duing the course of my experience. As I suggestively articulated to the reader earlier, the Chinese are tough on tourist visas that expire. Working there on a business visa seeking to bypass their Z work visa requirement means jail time the day after the tourist visa dies. Company and employment programs such as the one that I traveled to China on know this fact, and on the day before the tourist visa expries, effective companies and programs ship one to Hong Kong or to Tiawan, to hang out until the papers can be sorted and the mucho expensive Z working visa aquired. If one is lucky he should be albe to work there without the visa plying his trade, but just don't expect any pay until the visa comes through.

A company that pays a foreigner without a the Z visa, if caught doing so, will have to fork out 7000$ American in fines, as will the person working! At the time of my visit there, the juan was valued at 6.2 juan for every American dollar. A Hong Kong dollar was valued at .13 for every American dollar. That computes out at 45000 juan if caught doing so anyway, just in case any body missed it; so just don't expect to get paid if one dares to work there without a working visa.

During this time on what is known as the visa run, I stayed in a relatively accomodating hostel on Fortress street. The general feeling that I had of the place was that it reminded me of a second rate homeless shelter back in the states. The price per 24 hour stay equaled to 23 American dollars. I worked while I was there, but as I was discussing earlier, I did not get paid. The academy that I was employed with was even reluctant to work me every day, from fear of possible accusation that I was being paid without my work visa.

On average, I worked only every other day, which allowed me to have lots of free time to explore Hong kong. I also had time to speak with a number of European, Aussie, and Canadian expats. I only encountered one American expat while I was in the Hostel, interstingly enough. That is a story for another time, however

One of the more interesting expats that I chanced to meet was a man from Canada, who I called "The Crazy Professor," since he was extremely helpful and very knowlegeable about many topics, but acted whacked out at the same time, to the point that his antics reminded one of a psyched out professor of some exotic discipline. His real name was initialed RP, but we will call him "Randy," just for the sake of preserving his anonamenity and reference here inside this very true story. If he was to read this account, there is no doubt that he would recall the incident.

Quite often I would go on long walks with Randy throughout the island of Hong Kong, riding the ferrry at Kow Loon to the mainland side, and kicking aorund in general. We would get into deep conversations only ocasionally. We didn't have much time for indepth subject matter in between laughs, encounters with interesting adventurers on the streets, drinks and the like.

He was ardent atheist, he intimated to me as we walked about. He could find no proof, he stated to justify his stance.

"Well I have that proof," I informed him with a warm smile.

"Concider the limitless universe," I went on. "Scientist know that inumerable solar systems exist inside the milky way realm alone. Concider their constant distance apart, how it stablalizes and maintains. One has never heard of solar systems colliding, now have they," I reasoned?

"Have you ever wondered what held the planets up in their proper place? What caused them to rotate around the sun in a near perfect elipse, with none never crashing," I went on? "Concider that the individual planets are of differing sizes and consequently differing gravatational magnitudes. It is all a calculated proven fact of being. These differeing gravitational magnitudes act on each other, the earth and the sun, every hour on the hour, and from differing angle combinations by the literal hour. In additon, we have the push of heat from the sun in conjunction with its own force of gravitational atrraction. This massive interactive force is what provides the interplanetary stability conjunction with the perpetual motion that moves the earth around the sun at 36000 miles per hour. Isn't that simply amazing," I asked politely?

"Why yes, I have simply never given the matter any form of concideration from that angle," he smiled as he spoke in appearant surprise.

"But just hold on a minute, there is more.." I went on. "At the near exact moment every twelve months, on near constant scheduel, this reaction and interaction of the earth with the sun, the planets, and even the moon, causes the earth to tilt two notches away from the sun, then later on tilt two notches toward the sun. This motion is what facilitates the four season so neccesary for accomodating the bio rhythms of life on earth. Have you ever paused to concider that fact? It really is amazing."

"Why no, but go ahead," Randy spoke with a smile...

"The moon rotates around earth with the same side facing it at all times. There can be no doubt that its own gravitational attraction, conjunction with that of the earth, is what allows the earth to continually rotate, evenly dispersing the heat around the globe so that one side doesn't burn up, and the other side freeze....If such was to ever occur, all life on planet earth would consequentually perish.."

"Wow, how interesting," he gasped.

Can't you see the proof, sir," I asked? "There exists an obvious celestial concern that all life on planet earth coninue on for an infinity. Since this sublime concern is so apparent, then it is in possion of a source; and that source is what crafted all of the world and the universe, both what we know and do not know. This developemnt did not occur due to sheer random chance, from an inferior ascending into a continual superlative, no matter what the authoritarian liars of earth would have us all to believe. But please don't turn me away yet for there is still more to understand, dear Randy," I asked with a broad smile and a laugh...

This master creator even gave us his astral signature. At certain mathematically calcuated  reoccuring time intervals, the moon, which rotates around the earth with the same side facing the globe, passing between the earth and the sun. This form of the moon is observed as being spaced exactly far enough from both the earth and the sun, that it fits perfectly over the sun so that even the round edges line up, from the position of those who live on planet earth, generating what we refer to as "A Total Eclipse." The moon even momentarily pauses in its rotation around earth upon flushing perectly over the spere of the sun! The moon and the sun was here before any of us alive today or before in the past, so it certainly wasn't mankind who put it there.  Let there be no doubt in regard to specifically who it is that is cheif Lord Of The Universe," I said with a smile. "And I will be happy to give you a hint...., it isn't mankind!"

"In what ways has this entity manifested himself, other than the notations that you have just given," inquired Randy in earnest?

In the scriptures we have a series of prophesies given 2500 to 3000 years ago. What is astonishing is the degree of accurcy. For example Isaiah 66:8 says

"Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons.

For all practicle purposes is that not what happened? Isreal had lain in virtual ruins for nearly three thousand years. Her indigenous population scattered throughout the far corners of the globe. Then finally, they endured the greatest persecution of their entire history, where 80% of European Jewery has perished and were reduced to ash.

Secular logic had declared that for Isreal to ever arise, would have been impossible. Some among the most educated scholars during that time publically stated that Isreal would never rise again, since secular logic strongly suggested that that the entire people and culture of Isreal was nearing the point of vanishing from the face of the earth for all eternity...

Yet, by 1948 Great Brittan had gained control of a vast territory that included much of Jordan and Syria, not to mention the vast land that was promised to Isreal by divinity, and the land that would become Isreal by 1967 to include the West bank territory. The British government wanted to help the Isreali and offered them a nice tract in both Jordan and Syria. British officials were shocked when Isreali leaders told them that they wanted the land we know as Isreal. It was a deserted wasteland covered in sand and ruins; but that is what they said that they wanted, so thus it was given. The West Bank area was acqired by right of war that was initiated upon them, yet they were the victorious ones. Thus, underneath such conditions the nation of Isreal was born into existence just a predicted.

Amos 9: 14-15  I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God.

The People of Israel have watered the desert and it has given forth fruit. It has been said that Israel is the cheif exporter of 80% of the fruit that Europe consumes. It also exports much throughout the earth abroad.

Isaiah 43:5-6  Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth.

During the last forty years hundreds of thousands have been brought from among the ancient diaspora into Israel from far away as Russia, Ethiopia, Europe, and even from the US.

"Keep in mind, " dear Randy, I continued on. "When we see these manifestations of that which has been prophesied, each manifestation bears its own weight in suggestion for the future. Simply speaking, if we are honest and wise, there shall come a time with these manifestations where we have no other option but to simply accept what is being suggested for the future as being emenant, no matter how much it runs contrary to secular logic. After all, as it has been said before, in the realm of divinity, the word is spoken, so therefore it exists.., in spite of no prior facts suggesting any possibility for that existance. We then reach the point where we either accept the obvious prevailing truth, or we simply embrace the great lie by our denial of it. It really is just that simple."

"Tell me more," asked Randy. "I want to hear more of this. What lies ahead for the future?"

Revelation 11:1-19  Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed. ...

"The prophet John was taken into the future and given a rod and told to measure temple and the holy altar, but not the court of the gentiles. Even as these words are being written, the Israeli nation is organizing to reconstruct the third temple. Other world leaders may be involved in assisting with this organization, such as those from both Russia and the United States. One day in the world of the nearing future, this detail will manifest itself, and it will bear extremely heavy suggestion of the climax to it all," I said to Randy at the time.

Jeremiah 30:3 For behold, daysare coming,'declaresthe LORD,when I will restorethe fortunesof My peopleIsraeland Judah.'The LORDsays,I will also bringthem backto the landthat I gaveto their forefathersand they shall possessit.'"

"The original promised land that was given shall be restored back to the indigenous people of Israel. It is not going to matter what the UN thinks about them having it. It is not going to matter what the liberal populations of earth feel about them having this land. It is not going to matter what any government of mankind feels about them having this grand gift; the word was spoken more than 2000 years ago, and it will manifest at a future time, just as the temple will. Keep in mind that the original land tract that was promised ran from the West Bank, through the heart of Jordan, across a section of Saudi Arabia where the real Mount Sinai is, all the wal up into the heart of Syria, then back to include all that it is today.

"Once all of this manifests into reality, including the restoration of the nations heart, meaning the Third Temple, then shall come the massiah from beyond;  who will restore all of the earth and humanity back into the golden age that was originally intended for it. We simply have no alturnative choice but to accept this fact;  since manifestations bear facts, and facts bear suggestions. We are compelled to either accept fact as truth, or reject it to our eternal peril."
