How To Fish

“Have you ever wondered how to catch a Fish?”

Let me tell you step by step. Catching is easy, you can do this night or day in your spare time.

Where are good fishing spots?

If  you don't know where to go, ask people in your neighborhood for fishing places that you could go to. Some good fishing spots are:

  • Annapolis River, Nova Scotia

  • Bay of Quinte, Ontario

  • Bow River, Alberta

  • Fraser River, B.C.

  • Lake of the Woods, Ontario

What You Need To Bring

When you come to the place decide if you can walk or if you  need a boat or canoe to get to your fishing spot with a fishing rod. If you need a canoe you need one paddle for yourself.Make sure you have a variety of different hooks, net and, decide if you want a hat or snacks.

Arrival

When you come to the place,  stop paddling, make sure you're far away from woods or anything that would get in your way or snag your fishing line.

When everything is settled down you have to be still and quiet. The best time to fish is in the evening or in the morning because it is still and quiet.

  • and push the hook through it again.

How Do You Cast?

  • First put on your fishing gear.

  • Next, hold the rod with your dominant hand.

  • Then, pull out  the fishing line until you have about six inches of line hanging out over the end of the rod.

  • Hold the line against the rod with the crook of your index finger.

  • Open the bail with your other hand.

  • Point the rod at your target.

  • Put the bail back again.

  • Start rolling in the line by the handle and wait for a fish.
