She chooses to step ahead-pebble by pebble

Her soft pale skin pressed hard against the rock. Yet she felt less pain. Her endless miseries pained her more. She felt defeated in her mission- to save her old mother from the clutches of death. All her endeavours went unrecognized and Death came prowling to seize the sixty year old from the twenty year old. Her mother loved the sea because of its endlessness and permanence. Today, she came over her broodings. She could understand the inevitability of death. However, she took time to heal her bruised soul. She has decided to step ahead, pebble by pebble. The foamy waves lashed hard against the rocks and sprinkled its frothy milk all around. Far across, civilization could be seen but she chose to taste the waters with her feet, a feeling of freedom, with no constraints. Death cannot be overcome but at least can be welcomed gladly.

This thought helped her to advance, towards the transitory eternity.
