Trees Poem

A tree thirsts for water, we thirst for salvation from God. Trees have roots that grow deep, we should have deep roots with our relationships, with friends, with family, and with God.

But if we don’t have deep roots like a tree, we will wither away. So choose to live by the river of life where God is with you, then your roots will grow deeper, and your branches will stretch to the sky with the help of your Heavenly Father.

For each choice you make will lead you down different paths. You could go the easy way, but like a tree, your leaves will fall to the ground like in the fall. The more you don’t try, and keep going the easy way, your branches and roots will be frozen, your heart will be bitter and cold.

But if you keep trying, and go the hard way, then your leaves will grow big and green, and your roots will be strong in the word of God.
