In deep forlorn,
the cage door swings open;
Undergrowth bestowed
beneath the cage.

Memories left
but in scattered debris;
Eyes vigilant,
awaiting for their return.

But the cage,
rusted by time;
Iniquity appraised
and caress misunderstood.

Thy heart
listens to an ensemble--
an orchestra unsung
in deep desolation.

Still the silhouette
remains in outcast notion;
Still thy shepherd waits
in hope of the bond.

Thy aged seat
lies beneath the firmament;
Forever it waits--
Infinitus.
