The construct of humanity isn't too dissimilar from a piano. White keys form the majority by a fairly large margin (52:36). The black keys are often overlooked and marginalized in terms of their importance. The black and white keys, while ignoring the other, are capable of producing radically different tunes--but those tunes alone never allow you to effectively achieve your goal of solving/performing the task at hand...performing the music. Regardless of how hard you try, not every key will ever be completely in tune, nor will any two keys completely agree with each other. But for better or worse, in order for the piano, in this case society, to produce its most beautiful sounds and outputs, the keys eventually have to work together in a harmonious effort.  In this case, where blunders and inaccuracy leads to a loss of lives and the continual degeneration of the human condition, it's of the utmost importance.
