"The mixture of both hatred and pain gives a bitter taste to the tongue, you can taste in the air when you know something isn't right."

I could feel a sense of disbelief as the Mage spoke his words, the colours of the glass behind shone upon his dark blue robes and onto the tiles below his feet. His face was almost blackened by his shadow, giving off an ominous feeling to him.

"And what do you wish us to do then Mage?" I could hear from behind me. The mage rose his head, staring at the speaker. I turned my head, focusing my eyes on the man who I thought had spoken. He looked worse for wear, scars covering almost his entire face, drenched in sweat with his forehead gleaming in the light. His armor was stripped, shin guards and shoulder guards with just rags to place round his chest and cover him surrounded by a thin strip of rope to keep it in place. I could feel the mans veterancy in the way he spoke and his stance, the sort of Orc to show his valour and care little for the consequences. I was stopped in my thinking as the Mage arose once again.

"Take your problems to the Ethereals up in Winters Peak, i'll send a scroll to let them know you're coming. If we don't unite to remove this force from the world...."

He stopped abruptly, looking back at the Orc.

"I fear that we won't survive another day unless we remove their reign of the Western Plaguelands, I was given word not too long ago of an uprising of a new leader in that area. Exterminate those forces after you've been to the Ethereals."

I stepped up to the line, looking over to the mage as he spoke his words. As I got closer, his face became more distinct in the light, dark blue eyes with a subtle tint of green in them. A grey line of facial hair surrounded his cheeks and mouth, the wrinkles round his face gave a clear feeling that he was old.

"I have nothing more to say, leave now Orcs. Find your destiny with the Ethereals." He said, he puts his hands together and bowed lightly infront of us. I turned my back to the Mage, heading for the exit of the tent. It would be a long journey to Winters Peak, if we could make it before the week was over the Ethereals wouldn't have left for the Underworld. I pushed the flap of the tent over, around me was fields after fields. A dirt pathway lead forward and going, my eyes followed the path as it lead up the mountains infront, towards Winters Peak. Our Journey, began here.

"Come Cheiftain, we have much to begin and much to end." I could hear coming from my left, I turned my head, the Orc from earlier stood with the sweat now visible all over his body.

"Very well." Was all I could come up with, I raised my axe into the air. The sharpened edge sparkling in the sunlight, I yelled out to the many behind and infront of us. "Men! Begin the journey to the land of the Ethereals, we set course now!"
