the clock seems to tick louder,
the time seems to drag slower,
every second is a waiting game,

i dread that call, to say your gone,
but i assure you, your memory will live on,
i wish i was there to say goodbye,
but im not strong enough to hold back the tears,

you lived for your children,
and they sure loved you,
life is unfair and life is cruel,

life will be a bit emptier without you,
but i want to thank you for all that you have done,
you gave me a sister, my mum a home,
and you took myself and my sister in,

i will never forget you,
and my love will never fade,
until we meet again step dad,
i love you.
