Some days I can't get out of bed

Others I can't get you out of my head.

A knock at the door

The same as before,

But you still provide the bread

My head hurts when it rains

My eyes constantly in pain.

I feel the world is shut out

But only through my doubt,

Your love is questioned in my brain

How can I see straight again?

Through your love I am made clean again?

But what if I don't want your love,

What if I can't claim that dove?

I just want to be me again.

Your hands are big and strong.

They promised to hold me, be strong

You said, keep going,

I'm dead

Will I ever belong?

I often say I want to die

But I want you by my side.

Can I ever get this right?

Will I eventually win this fight?

For you, for me, for pride.

I guess this is it,

Drowning in my bottomless pit.

Yeah I've got a long way to go

And more courage to show.

The first step, the second, third,

Keep drinking till I hit the kerb.

Yeah it's all in my head,

You said,

Will it make a difference

When I'm dead.
