This house of glass is breaking fast.

I used to walk these empty halls

until I found myself in hell.

The air just gets colder, breathing gets harder,

and the centerpiece holds a flower

that wilts the closer to it I move.

But the walls force me further forward,

another petal closer to doom.

My eyes are now useless from the impending darkness.

My heartbeat is slowing, and my lungs are still burning,

My time has run out as I lie by my rose.

One petal left.
