I stand in front of the wall staring at the last piece of memory I have of you.

Both of us smiling from ear to ear,

That photograph reminds me that we once lived in a euphoric world.

I reminisce to back then when our friendship went deeper than the oceans.

This photograph is proof that once,

Even if just for a heartbeat,

Everything was perfect.

"We" are a moment of the past

And you'd rather leave it buried in there

So I hold this memory close to my heart.

This wall of mine remembers the little things,

Even long after you have forgotten everything.

Our friendship I reckoned, would last for eternity.

But I lost the one person I wanted to treasure forever.

Your silence hurts like hell

Perhaps our friendship wasn't worth the save.

We are now only strangers with memories.

I know we have drifted far apart.

I don't know you anymore.

But, I knew who you were

And I promise to hold on to that for a lifetime.
