the war had gone on for years. Before he arrived, the rivaling kingdoms were already fighting. We had stolen the the barrens' eye of war, a gem that could supposedly call upon the strength of titans to support that who used it. I was only a simple knight, but when the explosion went off, everything went silent. From the ashes, out of a volcano, we saw him. A large being was emerging from the smoke, with fire following from beneath the ground. It began forming a ball of molten lava, before hurling it at our kingdom, already killing a large number of people. It screamed, as though insane, and summoned a bolt of glowing red electricity, and launching it at us. I witnessed my family crying in terror, and knew something that might hold it back for a while. I run back inside the gates before they closed, and begin sprinting to the main tower. The beast hurls a ball of fire in front of my path, knocking me back. This forces me to take a side path, before I finally reach the tower. I'm trying to climb the stairs, but it sends a meteor flying at me. I run even faster, and the stone just misses me. When I reach the top, I rise my sword up, reflecting sun light in the god's eyes. It stops it's screams and sees me. I urge it to come closer. He laughs with a large grin on his face, and walks towards me, revealing he is even taller. When it is close enough to hear me, I speak. "I am willing to strike a deal with you." The beast grins at this idea. "Go back to your slumber, and awaken when we are strong enough to challenge you, and if you win, we will fight no more. Even if you must sleep for centuries, only arise when you consider us powerful enough to be a threat." The god laughs and nods in agreement, before waking away, and forming his body into a mountain, and falling asleep.
