Laying on the bed , every night she lived with a thousand thoughts in her mind , when all were fast asleep in the midnight hour , with the clear sound of the train , the wind , the chattering of leaves , the voices of her heart and mind echoing came alive. At times she was dwelling upon the memories of her past and before she knew , her mind travelled to an unknown future , only Emily could connect the dots. She was a joyous , cheerful girl , living with enthusiasm that a normal being could not achieve. She was the favourite of her family , for she bought smile to every face that talked to her , it was her charm, most beautiful daughter one could have . A helpful , caring , giving girl she was, her days passed beautiful and bright , she managed to score good in her academics , she was good in her extracurricular as well , however magnificently she was lively during her day time , her heart was doomed in loneliness at night . She had all what anyone would wish to possess in this material world , but wished for one emotional connect that she lacked . It was night that were the scariest for her , shouting aloud , she could not bear the pain in her ears and so chatted with herself all night long , till she fell asleep , it became a regular practice of hers , her own voice became a lullaby for her in the horror midnight world. But , there is a solution to every problem , a window open , even if all the doors are closed , and it was not very late when she found a friend on whom she could count on , a friend with whom she could share her fears and sorrows , she chatted with Rohan for hours on phone , shared all her secrets and told all her dreams to him , she kept him close to her heart , away from the world , afraid of being parted by the world as a film of her past experiences in her mind could narrate. The peaceful nights bought a satisfaction on her face , so vivid that people noticed the change , they asked for the reason , and she told them the truth , only to be later disappointed by her parent's note : there was no Rohan , no voice on the other side , no person addressed to that telephone number this time ; again.  Dreams were broken , hope shattered , but not Emily's alone ,this time her parents feared if she could ever come out of her imaginary world.
