The silent sea caused by a wave in my heart washed down my face, and the ocean I could view continued in a clam rage.
Like my heart it carried on, in and out, going through the motions.

I came to this beach, like the water to the shore, then walked away again, like the sea I saw, my tears flowing like waves.
Everyday no matter what, my situation seemed to pull me back to this place.
I always found something to uplift myself.
An old shell, some junk with a nostalgic quality others would miss.
I came here to cry in the night, then I’d stay awake smiling until the sunrise.
Those waves always going back and forth in my mind, telling me to run and hide or go back and be brave.
Either way I’d always come back to this place, where the ocean can carry my tears away.
