something about repetition.

Today we begin

At yesterday's summit.

Thus, to it, our work;

Our progress, submit.

At tomorrow's dawn

We will find ourselves back

To the start where we found ourselves

Still on this track.

Alas time won't stop for us,

We are slaves to its rules

As we all find out

We're far from its tools.

As life takes us forward

We can't help but look back

As we find ourselves

Returning to the same track.

Love, loss, change, repeat,

You try to make difference;

Try to believe your life

Is indifferent - on the fence

But to your dismay,

You fond yourself back

Following the same routine;

Back on your track.

While things seem temporary,

You see where you've gone,

And needless to say:

Your change is a con.

So what can us humans do

Bur turn tail, back

To the same routine

The same old track?

But life is changing,

The abstract moves not,

But our lives, our thoughts

Are still on the dot;

While time seems to

Always seem to track back

Our minds, our souls

Seem to never backtrack.
