Perhaps one day we may slip away

Into the silky darkness

Of a moonless night

What say you my love?

Shall we bare our souls

To the judgement of the stars?

And then laugh in the face of their notions

As we slip into our own ocean

Of self destruction and shadowy passions

And at the break of day

Fade away

To a mere lingering whisper

Of that moonless night.
