Bone McGraggen, once considered as a respected commander-in-chief who launched the assault on the Jaalguano has been sentenced to an eternity in the most desolate corner of the world. Thousands of feet above the seemingly fathomless uncharted waters of the Black Ocean, stands the Cement Isle, an artificial stretch of land endlessly long housing prisoners accused of only the most heinous crimes. With nothing but cemented cell blocks to house prisoners in the quality of life is abysmal. With no neighboring land nearby for miles upon end, food and water rations are impossible to bring in on a regular basis so prisoners are essentially brought to their deaths. On this man made peninsula, stricken by cannibalism, violence and overwhelming uncertainty day in, day out, even the strongest of beings struggle with everyday life.
