Two triggers; one for redemption, the other for judgement. Which one to pull? The old guard is all long gone, and I've see more than half the recruits burn in the ashes of this war. And the end is nowhere in sight

I can hear them sometimes, when they think I'm lost in what memory remains. 'How old is too long?' ' Does her eye still see what it once did?' I wake in the night with glimpses of poison darts in faces young and old. So easy for the finger to slip.

I long for the seas of home. When the future was still bright. Before the crisis, before this wasteland.
