Title: Can’t Stand on my own two feet

I listened for days when you didn’t speak.

Cause your last words left me feeling weak.

I say im moving on but my mind never leaves you.

When out of the blue I’m suddenly stuck looking like a fool.

Unable to explain these feelings I harbor for you.

{Chorus

Now I can’t breath

I’m sinking drowning in a dream.

But im still awake so it’s killing me.

I used to walk on water now I can’t stand on my own two feet.}

Time used to be a friend.

Now I just wish father time would just let it end.

Time couldn’t prepare me cause my heart breaks and can’t seem to mend.

God this can’t really be the real end.

{Chorus x 2

Now I can’t breath

I’m sinking drowning in a dream.

But im still awake so it’s killing me.

I used to walk on water now I can’t stand on my own two feet.}

Please release the harness im ready to get off this ride.

I’m finally ready to say goodbye when you’re coming back telling me it’s been a long time.

You got me all choked up and I can’t seem to remember how I got this broke.

So like the end of a joke I become your punch line.

Hit me right in the throat and I guess I should have known.

{Chorus

Now I can’t breath

I’m sinking drowning in a dream.

But im still awake so it’s killing me.

I used to walk on water now I can’t stand on my own two feet.}

I can’t believe I let you do this to me.

It’s like my life is a song on repeat.

And im struggling to break free.

{Chorus

Now I can’t breath

I’m sinking drowning in a dream.

But im still awake so it’s killing me.

I used to walk on water now I can’t stand on my own two feet.}

I can’t wake from this dream when I’ve never went to sleep. (end)
