She stood there determined, holding onto the tenacious grip she had over her forlorn dreams of leading a better life. The endless waves kept washing her sand-encrusted feet, as she reminded herself bitterly that it was only the ocean on which her family thrived upon. Besides the vast ocean, her late father had nothing left to render her family. She had to descend to the daunting depths of it every day, fetch pearls and make a living out of it. As she had to apprehend the self-evident truths of her extant life, never did she fear the storms, the waves or the creatures of the ocean. Despite the adversities her resolute onus swam at a depth, most would drown in. She believed in herself so strongly that the benevolent mother ocean couldn’t help, but cause no harm to her. The salty breeze carried her credence aloft, up above the groaning sea, and sighed in despair as it watched the lapping waves strive to soothe her restless soul. She wasn’t just a fighter.

“SHE”, was the ocean herself, the “MOANA”- Mighty, Mysterious and Magnificent.
