In your every form and figure

You can’t seem to escape an empty vigor

To play with virility, virtually stuck

With every jerk crossing out your luck

Shocking and strange, what you yearn

Backed by the nothing you’ve learned

Awed and excited, you invite only lust

Unaware of life’s prizes you let bite dust

In your high regard, you fail to guard

A wavering mind, a heart in shards

Not every story has a fairytale end

You lead the way to a scary tail end

The world’s changed, clearly, not enough

You let them rule, own all your stuff

Every new thought flickers and dies

Doomed by these slickers, you’ve no room to rise

Time’s left with no moments in it

All of it flies away in denial

Laughter forgotten, senses rigid

You remain in a constant trial.
