VROOM!”  The engine roared as the cab driver zoomed through the streets like a cheetah.  Alexander was tapping his foot in anticipation.  He was shaking with giddy excitement, literally tasting his own excitement, ready to finally be part of history.

“Skreeek” the cab skidded to a halt on the dock of the Titanic in Southampton, leaving skid marks and one very angry pedestrian.

“A’l be takin 10 for gettin here in 5 minutes.” said the cab driver as he glanced in the mirror at his rich passenger.  Alexander was so excited he doesn’t argue and he hands him 10 pounds.

Then Alexander stepped out of the cab and onto the docks where they had skidded to a halt and almost hit a pedestrian.  He stretched his arms and then grabbed his things and is on his way to history.

Once he started to board the ship he has a nasty wrench in his gut and remembers how his dad had died, on a sunken ship.  He shaked off the grief and weird feeling, he, after all, was on the unsinkable ship. Plus he was excited to see his fiance for the first time in months, she had gone to New york 3 months ago

After that day, Alexander got into a daily routine get up eat breakfast, go to the swimming pool, eat lunch,  go walk around the ship. This part of the day was the least repetitive, see it was easy to get lost in boundless elegant corridors. And for the last part of the day he would go to the first class smoking room if he didn’t get lost. One of the reasons he liked to go to the first class smoking room was because he had met a few people that he liked to hang out with.

Alexander loved it on the titanic. Its boundless corridors just magnificently crafted. Every time he thought he found its secrets he found something new.

Late at night, four nights from when he boarded the ship, Alexander was sleeping after a late night in the first class smoking room playing poker with his buddies.BOOM. Suddenly he was wide awake looking around for the source of the noise that had just resonated all around him.

Soon, he was rushing upstairs. Alexander was extremely scared. When he asks the captain what happened, he answers with a vague answer then say?”you should probably get your lifejacket on.” Bewildered he rushed downstairs grabs his life jacket and rushes back up.

Apparently other people were scared.  Because there were so many people rushing in one wayAlexander was a fish caught in the current.  He was pushed over the side and onto a lifeboat.

A guard just had time to say,” only wome….” Alexander didn’t hear the rest of the sentence because he swung the axe and cut the ropes.

They were fiercely paddling away from the titanic’s vacuum  radius. Suddenly their boat lurched and they found themselves in icy cold water.

Alexander started sinking soon. He thought of how his dad died. He was determined to die an honorable death not one of weakness.

“GEEEAH”He pushed with all his might and managed to get back in the boat which had also turned back up.

Hours later, Alexander decided he would try to sleep. Closing his eyes for what he know’s would be the last time and taking his last satisfying breath Alexander thinks, “I’ll see you dad.”

A few days later a search and rescue team recovers his body.  If he had lived to the next year Alexander was planning  to get married. He probably would have had kids and his legacy would still be going today.  But this tragedy took his life along with many others.  Alexander’s to be wife never married. She lived a long and happy life, only because she knew Alexander would want her to.  she never forgot Alexander.
