Sweet is the nectar of the delicate flower.

Deep inside the sand, my roots are found,

Drinking the water underground.

My fragrance leaks, plays in the horizon.

My scented petals dance in unison.

I grow on this island. Alone. Shivers.

Trapped by the seashore,

Begging for a saving hand.

But, oh, what happened to myself?

Just yesterday, it moved me to tears.

I gaze toward the skyline,

Clear the light,

But scorch my iris,

Dried the dew of my blade,

My blade that always defense the punishing heat.

Now, sunrays crawl,

Shatter my leaves, wither my stem.

Dawn departs, twilight engulfs me,

Wraps my beauty,

That no one

Can ever see.
