I see a small fish in the water.

It is swimming about.

I am a fisher.

I must pull him out.

He pulls away.

I think he is afraid and in pain.

I pull him again.

Time after time.

He starts to give up.

I pull him in.

He seems happy.

I guess he really loves me.

I have him.

In the palm of my hand.

I look at him.

Oh wow he is so lovely.

Then he jumps out of my hand.

Oh no he has left.

I watch him swim away.

So I begin to cry and scream.

But then when I thought he was gone,

He comes back to me.

I grab him very quickly.

He seems to want to stay.

No longer will I let this fish

go back and fourth.

I put him in a bowl.

He is now found and mine.

My fish

Who swims about in the bowl given to him by me.
