This poem talks about how I feel. I'm pretty depressed and trying to find a healthy way to express myself. I'm not good at poetry so sorry.

My mind is a baby dolphin,

Swimming in a raging black ocean,

with waves so high that I can't get air,

parents nowhere near,

and no sharks to be scared of,

yet the danger still lurks unable to be put to rest

the current sometimes carries me away,

to other dolphins,

bigger

stronger

and despite intentions they knock me to the ocean floor,

taking all my valued air away,

I'm drowning,

but what does air feel like?

the storm will clear and the water will calm,

All I need to do is swim up,

why can't I?

I'm chained,

they aren't visible,

but they make me pained,

I have no team,

Nobody to bring me up,

Asking for help buries me farther down,

and smiling stabs me just enough to hurt,

but enough not break skin,

Where's my family?

Abandoned.

Not good enough.

Not a good enough reason.

Stuck down here now I'm freezing.

I just want to breathe.
