In A Twist

My fingers are all muddled up,

They’re in some kind of twist,

Every word I go to type

There’s a letter that is missed.

I think it is my keyboard,

It’s playing games with me,

The keys, they are all swapping round,

Just when I cannot see.

I’m typing lots of nonsense,

The order is all wrong,

My spell-check is in overload

It needs to be so strong.

Perhaps it’s just my laptop,

I think I’ll try my phone

But that has the exact same thing --

Am I suffering alone?

It’s really time consuming

When these letters won’t stay still,

Locating each one every time --

Enough to make me ill.

But I’ll never go and give up

For I really love to write;

I’ll just have to concentrate

And not give up the fight.
