Obstacles

I cannot catch you by tail nor head,
O poem, where do you end?

When the greatest poet of all,
In one whimsical fit of rage,
Decided to make God,
Did they ask the same?

When her eyes flashed with joy,
Did she know but kept quiet?
Only to tease it with a smile,
Did she know what I never will?

O poem, where do you begin?
