Sea of Affection

She blows me away,
Like seeds of a dandelion.
She knows her way with me,
Like an old fisherman knows the sea.

From this place that I call home,
The tidal waves left only a dome,
And upon it our symbol of faith:
One fish eating another’s tail.

From the mouth of a great Kraken,
Comes the dead waste of the lost world.
The tempest took those who slackened,
My love, true, to mast still holds.

My love: Pinta,Niña and Santa Maria!
My love: The great plain of the Pacific!
My love: The mystery of the Atlantic!
My love: The Great Barrier Reef!

My love knows her way with me,
Like an old fisherman knows the sea.
