Where did it begin?

Was it in the stars?

Amidst the nothingness of the universe

Or was it in the seas?

With the gentle treading of the waves

Or was it at the touch of two hands?

When two worlds merged into one

Or was it when the eyes met?

When everything made sense without words

Or was it in the distance?

That the logical mind could not bear to cover

I don't know where it began

All I know is that it began

With a scintillating force

Lighting a fire

That is not meant to be extinguished

Because it has begun.
