This is a collaboration between Hullabaloo22 and myself:

Hot can be cool, and hot can be hot,

lazy summer days, or not

so lazy, sweltering, to be exact,

then I long for cold, and that's a fact.

Cold as in cold as ice is not-so-nice,

I long for summer, makes me think twice.

I guess I'm a whiner, sad but true,

It's never perfect, is it the same for you?

Well, Mike, I guess I’d have to say

that warm would make my perfect day!

I don’t like to be boiled or otherwise baked,

and I don’t want to be frozen like one of those snow flakes.

Today it is so soggy I feel more like a duck,

tomorrow might be drier with a little bit of luck.

We really cannot change it and whatever it will be,

but we’ll still be weather-moaning, just you wait and see!
