You wonder why I don't speak to you
Well mother dear,
Remember the time you threw your half empty Heineken bottle at my head?
Do you recall the crimson rain that cascaded down my cherub face?
The rancid smell of your nightly poison and the tears that you demanded stop falling at ONCE..?
I do.
Then all the times that you said I was "too fat" for my age.
Seven...
Nine years later my happiness depends on the visibility of my rib cage
How could I forget?
The way you lashed out, punching me everywhere
Bloody nose
Black eye
Scarred body
"I fell", just another lie
But then...
There were all the times you attacked my intelligence
Said I'd never amount to anything
That I was weak,
Ugly
Stupid
Bitchy
You want to know the best part?
You're wrong.
I don't need you.
You're nothing.
You lost.
Just remember everything that you've done
Maybe then you'll understand why I don't speak to you.
