Tumbleweed outlaw By river dawson april 2017 copyright

Tumbleweed never stops rollin As it blows from town to town It dont get hung up on one place And it never settles down

Cant seem to find a reason To stay any place too long Who’ll miss a tumbleweed outlaw When hes upped and gone

Just a few steps over legal Never one to toe the line Or stand for the injustices done to me or mine

I always come out swinging And see the enemy hit the ground Thats a Tumbleweed outlaw Always lost and never found.

Finding comfort for a moment never was my style I want a gal who will run with me And linger for a while

All the ladies are supposed to love outlaws At least thats what i was told None of them ever passed my way And this outlaws growing old

And now its time to leave again Another town Behind me in the past never belonging anywhere No peace ever lasts.

Always the perpetual stranger Out of step with time Just a tumbleweed outlaw Following a road thats all mine
