Thug! Thug! Thug! "Move those rangy fingers of yours!",
"You're too slow at knitting these fine carpets!!",
shout masters harassing little kids.
Children all around the world are working this way,
being there master's one and only prey.
Looming, knitting, burning their hands from the fire,
Soon the children might just expire.
Africa, Latin America and the Asia Pacific Region,
Children hammering, the experience is shattering.
22, 000 dead in a year, 211, 000, 000 working tirelessly,
Without life, striving thirstily,
As if they are mice trying hard to get out of cat's razor sharp teeth.
They don't have a single second to waste,
not even to breathe,
Children's hearts are in debt,
Not enjoying childhood and not creating dreams,
Can someone please explain what all of this means?,
it means that masters are unscrupulous.
The government knows that people are breaking the law,
The don't dare intervene because of corruption,
pitiful lives in destruction,
Child labour is life obstruction.
