The girl, shorter than any normal girl, but not short short walked into the room. No faces turned, no one really noticed. But she was the angle among devils! No dress to impress: There was no need for that. No glitzy makeup or the latest phone: She didn't need that either. All she had were simple black jeans resting on her innocent hips and a grey top cut at the base of her ribs to leave everyone to admire. But no one did, no one batted an eyelid or double-took her. Except one. And it was he that admired her.

He took her under his wing, getting closer with every word. Intent on watching his prey dance. Watching her reach out to him, and for him to be there. Guiding her along his route. Teaching her his ways. Instilling his knowledge into her innocent head.

And she was intrigued by this - his humour, his intellect, the calming voice pecking at her ear. She could think of nothing else. He was the hunter coaxing his prey out of her shell. And she was the lioness, the unhunted yet shy most secretive of all animals. And she too was on the hunt.

Closer the unmatched pair came, crazy for each other's scent. The lioness, her sun-kissed skin becoming ever-visable to her other. And he, with growing strength and passion he awaited his den every opportunity be got.

She grew. And he grew.

Her once permanent layer of grey slowly began to fall away more and more whenever she was with him. First, all he was the occasional sliver of her innocent purity. And as she grew, this grey layer did not. Slowly it crept up her browning figure. Releasing her encased skin to the sun’s rays.

She grew. And he grew.
