Why do we become insane while trying to be sane?

It's like the sadness you feel deep in the middle of your body has become okay.

And the thin lines on your thigh have become a normal part of your everyday life. Progressing more and more every time you thought about wanting to die.

Saying your fine has taken the place of the word "empty" and your body has accepted that sadness is no longer your enemy.

If insanity is the new sane, then what is insanity?

Your sadness has become your sanity.
Because your body has become immune to the gut wrenching pain of not being okay.

So don't be afraid when someone asks if you are doing okay because you no longer have to lie when you say I'm fine.
