THE LOST SHADOW

Walking along singing a song,

Under the glory of the Sun,

The shadow did dance,

Having really good fun.

It skittered and scattered,

Waved and then wandered,

Upon lofty walls,

With silhouetted falls.

The warm light did go,

In that cloudily foe,

The fun then did end,

No more pretend.

The lost shadow cried,

Like someone had died,

The shadow was glum,

And sat on his bum.

After a short while,

The brightness did smile,

The shadow was back,

Ready to attract.

There one the wall,

It smiled at the call,

cart wheeling backwards,

Down to the mall.

Children did cheer,

Howling dogs did bound,

The shadow was lost,

But now had been found.

So guys have some fun,

When you see shadows prance,

Merriment all the day,

Singing and skipping on your way.
