How will you be remembered?

Starting off as an inaudible sound

as if not to wake sleeping giants.

As it crescendos into a game of hide n’ seek

reflecting off rocks, trees, and the wall of the valley.

Echoes leave an impression

an etching if you would.

A voice from the past.

To hopefully be understood.

As people fight each hope their side will win.

So that their echo will be sung throughout the ages.

Their battle cries remembered,

their dead put to rest.

As time goes on we remember,

remember the fallen and the victors.

Their echoes still singing today;

as we think we have the high ground.
