******************************
A story in Vampire genre comes along with violence, so is it with this book. But I try keeping it balanced throughout, along with other elements likely to be present in this book. So don't fret ?
Also we have romance, since it is my core genre of writing. That makes me first time traveller in a supernatural journey.
And, and, importantly let me be clear. This story at the beginning, is up with too many undigestible facts. So, if you get confused or feel like unrealistic, its because I write in a certain style and many find it interesting as they move on later chapters. So I keeping up this style like forever.
Eventually, I hope you too will enjoy it ?
Thanks lots for deciding to read this story. That means so much to my lone existence, that is as an writer. Every single reader is a blessing for every single writer, that is what I believe.
Hoping the best to come up with this story.
Love,
Veronica.

Eleanora?

"Elly!"
I hear Lafayette amidst the roaring waves. I turn around by deepening the heel of my right leg right inside the warm sand. The thing I love to do on the wet sand. Mark my heels. I saw Laf run towards me with Wentletraps.
How can she gets her hand on them so soon.
"Look."
She said her eyes gleaming with flashing powerful glints at the completion of the job, she loves the most, grabbing sea shells.
"I too got some angle wings."
I replied fishing my pocket and bringing out two pairs of them.
"Wow! That is a handful of them isn't it?"
She chided making me pout.
"Amartia."
A serene but sharp commanding voice played in background, a voice which seemed to ring through my veins, turning both of us to face the lady.
She was dark middle-aged, huge and well built, her long caramel hair was plaited ending with Alliums at the end, her nose pierced with a wounded copper ring and similar choker on the neck and the sleeveless arms had biceps, though not prominent but noticeable.
"Sorry? May I help you?"
Lef spoke in confusion.
"No dear, I can help myself."
Came the commanding and sharp voice, for which I flinched beside Lef. Lef and I saw each other before the strange woman continued.
"I just came to look on you Amartia."
What this hell, who is Amartia?
"My name isn't Amartia. Sorry, you might have mistaken."
I replied suggestively. Her brown eyes grew dark, and she stared the sea, a small complacent smile curving her lips.
"There is nothing in this world or the other, which can ever lead me to a mistake."
I was blinking at her uncanny frame while I heard Lef utter in low voice.
"Got it. She's crazy."
I turned to see Lef but my mind pulled me back to the strange woman.
What is she?
What is it in her that is drawing me to her?

"There lies your family isn't it?"
I followed her stare to see mom and dad with little Selena on their arms, playing with her in the waves.
"Yes. How do you know?"
I jumped and replied before glancing at Lef's surprised face. Soon she Lef's expression changed to bored already fed up with the lady and her weird mannerism.
"There is nothing which can hide from me."
Dear lord, this woman is crazy, yet so mysterious.
I kept seeing her for a while, she smiled suddenly as if acknowledging my sight, without even looking at me, her gaze fixed on the distant sea.
"Any way, what business do you have with Amartia?"
It was Lef, stating her irritation over the mystery woman of queer words.
"I just wanted to mark this day. The day which changes the world and its happenings."
"Our world is gonna change?"
I asked instantly.
"Not this world, the other one, where we always belonged Amartia."
We? as in me and she?
Damn! this lady is making me go crazy.

"Amartia is bored so we shall leave."
Lef snapped out, and turned and started tugging me to leave the place.
"I shall be leaving,"
The lady announced suddenly, still staring at the sea. I turned my gaze to the sea, the waves seemed rushing with more speed than usual.
I heard Lef murmur under her breathe, something like thanking the heavens, cause woman was leaving.
"I should be marking this day, a  climacteric in the other world. The world of undead."
Undead, what does that mean?
I looked up to her in confusion, to see her already watching me.
"Cellestia will retire now. We will be meeting soon Amartia. Till then enjoy this unenjoyable life Eleanora."
What, what? What? She knew my name?
What the freaking hell?
Why was she acknowledging me as Amartia, when she knew my name?
O, well how does she know my name though?

She moved past us barefooted on the sand. Suddenly I wanted to follow her, but a hand tugged me back and I turned to see annoyed Lef.
"Thank god! she left. Crazy woman."
Lef let out a huffed breathe.
"What is the other world? Do you know?"
"I do, its the mental asylum. The place where she belongs."
She snapped, I frowned understanding her mock. We then walked to our families waiting for us to join them. My mind still playing the name, which felt so familiar, Amartia.
............................................................
"Look, who's in there?"
Lef whispered playfully nudging her elbows, gesturing to the group of men. The hunky jocks of Arcland.
"Mr. Cameron, the blue eyed Greek lord!"
"Shut up! He is not for you."
I let a whispering sally, glancing my blue eyed, coal black haired, square faced, crush.
"O, c'mon it is not like you can go and marry him straight away. You can just crush over him that's it."
Lef spoke into my ears making it sure our parents didn't get any idea of our on goings.
"No! I'll marry him."
I hid my mouth behind the bun and snapped to her ears.
"Are you crazy? Elly he is twenty five, and you freaky girl, you are just thirteen."
"Yes, I am crazy, crazy for my Chris."
"Duh."
She stood up and walked away. I followed her. Picking up the last bun off the plate.
"Well, the advantage of marrying that over aged man is getting grocery items free."
She smirked after giving me a mouth full mock.
"O, please. It is his father who runs the grocery not him."
"Yes, and he runs absolutely nothing. He is to no avail."
I stomped my foot on the sand, and with that she poked her tongue to me before running towards the billows of salt water.
"You!"
I chased after laughing aloud to meet the waves
.............................................................
My lovely siesta broke with the sound of a car riding on the front yard before halting, it was a black Bugatti and I already knew the person.
"Aunt Lavina!"
Selena jumped off the bed, the one in which we were having our sleepy time after the beach time. She jogged to the leaving room not too far from our bedroom. Ours was a tiny house in the village gradually transforming to a town Arcland now.
"O, my dear Seli! How is my princess doing?"
I heard Aunt Lavina shriek! I hated her very voice along with her words. The words which always spoke of her wealth and prosperity. I knew it was a taunt for our low in wealth life.
My mother had fallen in love with my dad who was a middle class businessman and married him. While she married a millionaire! So what? My home was a happy home. While hers was a mansion with just, a barren mansion. And she a cactus in that barren land!
Neglecting her whole presence just across the wall, I bounced back on my bed to act deeply asleep.
"O, damn you."
I raised my head off the bed to attend my hollering phone.
"Elly!"
I heard Lafayette tensed in her voice.
"Lef?"
She kept mum.
"What's it Lef?"
"The Cameron's."
Cameron's?,
Chris's family?
What happened to them?

"The shop, hotel and house got on fire!"
"What?"
"Yes, and... And they said nobody stands alive."
She mewled, my eyes water within a while after comprehending the shock.
No! Chris, you can't be dead. You can't be dead.
